2014 Champions Cops and Joggers - 28 May 2014

The magnificent and unique trophy, made from red deer antler and sycamore wood, was presented to and Joggers team captain David Wilkinson by David Beattie of Aberdeen Sports Village (last year's champions) and by Stuart Wyness (Stena Drilling) and Andy Conway (ConocoPhillips).

David Wilkinson admitted it was hard work getting the prize back to the ConocoPhillips offices at Hill of Rubislaw. He said: "The trophy is much larger than we all thought! It was a struggle getting it back to the office, but it's here."

The Corporate Team Challenge competition is based on the combined results from the ConocoPhillips 5Km and the Stena Drilling 10Km. Teams of four runners compete in each event although it's also possible for runners to double up and do both races.

The finishing position of each of the four runners in each race is added together to give an overall score and the team with the lowest combined total from the two races wins the trophy. Teams can be all male, all female or a combination of both.

Neil Emslie scored for the Cops and Joggers in both races, finishing 36th in the 5Km and 170th in the 10Km. Their other counters in the 5Km were Mike Atkinson (40th), David Wilkinson (48th) and Mark Oatey (56th).

In the 10Km Dan Pearce (28th), Jonathan Murray (79th) and Andrew Hutchison (159th) were the successful runners along with Neil.
