Run Balmoral 2020

Following UK and Scottish Government advice in respect of the current coronavirus pandemic, as you probably know by now through our Facebook, Instagram and website posts, we have had to cancel RunBalmoral 2020 which was due to be held over the weekend of 18th and 19th April.

We appreciate this is disappointing but is unavoidable given the health risks facing the nation at this time. We have looked at the options for rescheduling this year, but with the continuing uncertainty over how long the coronavirus crisis may last as well as other potential commitments on Balmoral Estate, this is, unfortunately, not possible. This has been a difficult decision and we have been working hard on all fronts to ensure the continued viability and success of our event in the future.

We can, however, offer everyone the opportunity to roll their entries over to the 2021 event which is to be held on 17th and 18th April. Alternatively, you can apply for a refund.

To choose which option you prefer, please Go to www.runbalmoral.com click on the ‘My Entry Preference‘ button.

Login to you RunBalmoral account, click the ‘Make Your 2021 Entry Preference’, and for each entry choose your preference.

You should choose one option by 31st July 2020. If we have not heard from you by that date, then unfortunately you will forfeit your entry fee and your place in the 2021 event.

Please note that in accordance with our terms and conditions, refunds in adult races will be the race entry fee minus £5 admin fee (which covers banking and other charges we have incurred). Full refunds will be given for the Primary and Secondary races if you choose to ask for a refund.

If you do choose to refund your place(s) this may take a few days to process.

Block bookings for companies / charities and complimentary entry will be available for 2021 once the entries open again.

Take care and we’ll look forward to welcoming many of you to RunBalmoral 2021 which will be held over the weekend of 17th and 18th April.
