Stewart and Rebecca Head the Entry List as MPH Primary Schools Race Fills Up - 4 March 2011
Sauchen's Stewart Millar,11, will be hoping its a classic case of third time lucky when he competes in the MPH Primary schools 1.5Km race at Balmoral on Saturday 23rd April.
The youngster has finished in second position for each of the past two years, but will be aiming for top spot on this occasion. His younger brother Calum, 6, is also taking part.
Rebecca Eggeling, 10, will also be bidding to step up a position from last year.The Inverurie athlete was second behind Dunecht's Morna Holmes in 2010.
Rebecca's sister, Naomi, is also running in the popular event which is now just a few entries away from reaching its 750 runner capacity. Separate races will be held for boys and girls.
The Stena Drilling Tartan 10Km is also full, with all 2,500 places having been taken up. Entries are also pouring in for the ConocoPhillips 5Km which looks sure to reach its capacity before too long.
There are, however, still places available in the Kongsberg Maritime 2.5Km and in the recently launched Petrofac Challenge which takes place on Sunay 24th April.
