Q. When will I receive my race pack?
A. Race packs will be posted out for all racers, EXCEPT the Duathlon on Monday 6th April.
Q. When do I get my Duathlon race pack?
A. You will collect this on the day of the race at registration which will be open from 8am till 9am. A further e-mail will be sent to you regarding this in due course.
Q. What is in the race pack?
A. Your number with chip attached. An instruction sheet and four safety pins.
Q. Do I get a T shirt and medal?
A. Yes, you will receive that after you have completed the race.
Q. What are the prizes for each race?
A. Please refer to the prizes page on the web site.
Q. Where is the parking for the event?
A. Parking is within and adjacent to the grounds of Balmoral. On Saturday it will be extremely busy so please allow plenty of time for your journey and plan to arrive AT least one hour prior to the start of your race. There is a 20 minute walk from the car park to the race start point.
Q. What is there for me to see and do when not running?
A. LOTS! We have catering, charity stalls, activities like climbing wall and bungee run, street sports, Zorbs, different cycles to try with ACTTRAVELWISE Scotland and the Castle grounds and exhibitions are all open
Q. What about on the Sunday?
A. We have increased the catering on the Sunday and although less activities than the Saturday (because of less people) still more than we have had in previous years!
Q. Are there water stations?
A. Yes on all races except the 5K and Wee Trail. The Duathlon water point will be at transition. 10K at the top of the hill and 15 mile will have three points equally spaced.
Q. Do I get a goodie bag?
A. Yes if you are a junior racer! Otherwise no, but water is available at the end of all races along with your T shirt and medal.
Q. I ordered an iTaB, when will I receive it?
A. iTaB’s are sent to your postal address after the race. You should receive them in about a week. You simply attach your iTaB to the back of your medal in the slot provided.
Q. Can I bring my dog?
A. Dogs are welcome on a lead with spectators but no dogs are allowed to run with runners or cycle with cyclists. (You know what I mean !).

Q. I am injured and can no longer run, can I get a refund?
A. Sorry we cannot offer any refunds at this point.
Q. When do online entries for all races close?
A. 20th March 2015. Many of the races are already full, although there may be some charity places remaining until that date.
Q. Will you take entries on the day?
A. If there is still some capacity in the Glacier Energy 15 mile trail race and the jogscotland Wee Trail race we may accept entries on the day. Check our website and facebook pages for updates nearer the time. To be sure of a place it's still best to enter online before the 20th March deadline. No entries will be accepted on the day for any other races.
Q. Will there be changing and showering facilities?
A. Changing will be available in marquees near to the finish line of all races. There are no showering facilities. It would be best to bring a change of clothes with you in case of wet weather.
Q. When will results be available?
A. Full results will be posted on our website as soon as possible after the event
